In 2022, from Valencia, Spain, we were contacted by architect José Luis Crespo with a special proposal: to digitally recreate Villa Cornelius, an ancient Roman villa discovered in previous excavations, currently located under a railway track. The intention was to build an accurate 3D recreation, accessible from different platforms, that would serve as a tool for cultural preservation and could be explored interactively by researchers, students and the general public.
